Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

QEST4 Bioenergetic Testing

Q: What is QEST4 testing? A: QEST4 is a non-invasive bioenergetic testing system that uses information from your body’s energetic field to help identify imbalances in vitamins, minerals, heavy metals, toxins, and overall system function. It provides insight into areas where support or correction may be beneficial.

Q: How does QEST4 testing work? A: The QEST4 sends a gentle signal through the body via handheld electrodes and measures the body’s energetic response. The system then compares those responses against a database of patterns linked to nutrition, toxins, and organ function, creating a personalized report.

Q: Is QEST4 testing safe? A: Yes. QEST4 is safe, painless, and non-invasive. No blood is drawn, and no chemicals are introduced into the body. It is simply an energetic scan of the body’s communication pathways.

Q: What kinds of issues can QEST4 testing help with? A: QEST4 can shed light on:

  • Nutritional deficiencies

  • Food sensitivities

  • Heavy metal or toxin burden

  • Hormone and immune balance

  • Stress and emotional imbalances

Q: Does QEST4 provide a diagnosis? A: No. QEST4 is not a medical diagnostic tool. It identifies energetic imbalances and stress patterns that may be affecting wellness. It is meant to complement, not replace, traditional medical care.

OligoScan Testing

Q: What is OligoScan testing? A: OligoScan is a quick, non-invasive test that uses spectrophotometry to measure mineral levels, trace elements, and heavy metal accumulation in real time—through the skin on your palm.

Q: How long does the test take? A: The scan itself takes only a few minutes, and results are available immediately. This allows for an on-the-spot discussion of your mineral and heavy metal status.

Q: What can OligoScan reveal? A: OligoScan can provide valuable insight into:

  • Mineral and trace element deficiencies

  • Heavy metal accumulation (such as mercury, aluminum, cadmium, etc.)

  • Potential causes of fatigue, low immunity, or detoxification issues

Q: Is OligoScan safe? A: Yes. The scan uses light technology only—no needles, no blood draw, and no radiation. It is completely non-invasive and safe for adults and children.

Q: How is OligoScan different from blood tests? A: Blood tests show what is circulating at the moment, while OligoScan provides information about what is stored at the tissue level. This gives a more complete picture of long-term mineral balance and heavy metal exposure.

General

Q: Can I do both QEST4 and OligoScan testing? A: Yes! Many clients choose to combine the two for a more complete wellness picture. OligoScan measures mineral and heavy metal levels, while QEST4 shows how your body is energetically responding to stressors and imbalances. Together, they provide a deeper understanding of your overall health.

Q: Do I need to prepare for these tests? A: No special preparation is required. Simply come as you are. Avoid applying lotion or oil to your palms before an OligoScan.

Q: What happens after the test? A: You’ll receive a detailed report, and together we’ll review the findings. From there, we can create a personalized plan for nutritional support, detoxification, and rebalancing.

Safety & Suitability

Q: Can I have these tests done if I’m taking medication? A: Yes. Both QEST4 and OligoScan are safe for individuals taking medications. These tests do not interfere with prescription drugs, but results may show how medications are influencing mineral balance or stress on the body. Always consult your healthcare provider before making changes to prescribed treatments.

Q: Is it safe to do these tests while pregnant or breastfeeding? A: Yes. Both QEST4 and OligoScan are non-invasive and use no radiation, needles, or chemicals. They are safe for expectant and nursing mothers. These tests can actually provide helpful information about nutrient needs during this important time.

Q: Are these tests safe for children? A: Absolutely. Because both QEST4 and OligoScan are painless and quick, they are well suited for children. Many parents find them useful in identifying nutritional needs or sensitivities.

Qualifications & Professional Background

Q: Who is qualified to run these tests? A: I am a Certified QEST4 Practitioner, trained in both the safe use of the system and in interpreting results. My role is to guide you through the testing process and help you understand your results in a way that is clear and actionable.

Q: Do you provide medical diagnoses? A: No. QEST4 and OligoScan are not diagnostic medical tools. They do not diagnose, treat, or cure disease. Instead, they provide valuable insight into nutritional balance, heavy metal exposure, and energetic stress patterns, which can complement your existing healthcare.

Testing Experience & Results

Q: How soon will I get my results? A: With both QEST4 and OligoScan, results are available immediately. You’ll leave your session with a clear understanding of your body’s current state.

Q: Will I need follow-up testing? A: Many clients choose to retest every 8–12 weeks to track improvements and see how their body is responding to nutritional or detox support. However, follow-up is entirely optional.

Q: Do the results tell me exactly what supplements I need? A: The results highlight imbalances, stressors, or deficiencies that may benefit from support. I’ll help you understand which nutrients or detox strategies could be most useful for your body, but supplement recommendations should always be personalized and adapted over time.

Q: How long does an appointment take? AA: A typical session lasts about 45–60 minutes, including the scan and review of your results. Follow-up visits are often shorter, around 30 minutes.

Practical Concerns

Q: Will insurance cover these tests? A: At this time, most insurance plans do not cover QEST4 or OligoScan testing. However, many clients find the insight gained to be well worth the investment in their health.

Q: Do I need to stop supplements before the test? A: No, you can continue your normal routine. Both systems measure how your body is responding in its current state, with supplements included.

Q: What should I avoid before my appointment? A: For OligoScan, please avoid using lotion, oils, or self-tanner on your palms the day of the scan, as this can affect the light reading. For QEST4, no special preparation is required.
